Please join us for the 2019 Active Threat Faith Based Academy hosted by the American Red Cross. This academy is designed to provide the core knowledge necessary to prepare, respond, and recover from an active shooter or other Man-Made incident. This event is free to attendees and their organizations.

Education
Understand the active threat phenomenon more deeply. A series of speakers with subject matter expertise will share short talks related to active threats. Learn how to prevent and survive these man-made events.
Prepare
Plan, prevent and train. Training to empower lay responders with the knowledge to save lives during a mass casualty event. This training utilizes best practices from nationally accepted training and includes guidance from the Department of Homeland Security and local officials.
Respond
Save lives with "treat" bleeding control delivered by a national "Stop the Bleed" expert. This training gives attendees the confidence to distinguish life threatening from non-life threatening injuries, an understanding of bleeding control kits, and training to stop bleeding with direct pressure and tourniquets.
Recover
Care for individuals and build resiliency in your organization. Disaster mental and behavioral health training to help survivors of these man-made events.
